I’ve just had a 1:1 with Kate as we were really struggling with our 2.5 year old Labrador’s behaviour.
Kate went back to basics with me. I’d done puppy classes in the past elsewhere so knew what I was supposed to do but I had got a bit lost and was letting my obedience training slip and become flexible depending on what my dog wanted to do!!!. Within minutes of Kate reiterating what my dog expected of me and making me take back control there was a complete shift in both how I approached my dog, setting boundaries, making my dog accountable and consequently my dog responded positively.
Kate is so calm and considered yet direct and firm and really “gets” dogs and just as importantly, their humans too! Without sounding dramatic, she has really saved us and that’s after just one session.

Highly recommend Kate for her dog training classes as she is so patient, caring and knowledgable. We completed a basic dog training course and my Rottweiler puppy thoroughly enjoyed herself as did I! It was a great outdoor environment and we learnt a lot together, especially on recall where Kate set up distractions and we worked with our dogs to navigate past the distractions to still come to us. I attended puppy training classes with Kate, in order to gain some skills and advice to teach our 1 years old King Charles cavalier how to be more obedient and also better behaved on the lead during walks. Kate is friendly, calm, and extremely knowledgable and patient. I found Kate’s methods worked really well and took them home each week and continued to build on them. I feel that in the 6 classes I picked up a lot of really good tips and advice, and I am continuing with these to build on Paddy’s newly learn skills. Kate came to help us with our little fox red lab when she was 12 weeks old. We opted for the 1-1 sessions as they fitted in best with busy work schedules. Kate arrived with her treat bag and the pup fell in love with her straight away… (not just for the yummy treats) Kate was calm,relaxed and warm towards her and she responded so well to Kate.
Kate is so knowledgeable,professional,fun and made us feel so at ease and relaxed.
Her calm and warming manner is so lovely and the way she handles little M is great. She’s always able to answer all our questions if it’s putting our mind at rest or teaching new ways to do things. Kate has been a pleasure to work with and I can not recommend her or her knowledgeable service highly enough.
